School meeting room

NordikLED’s team designed, developed, and manufactured a bespoke replacement LED and gear tray with the drivers selected to ensure compatibility with existing lighting control systems, creating a beautifully lit space with over 70% savings on energy! Through upcycling existing fittings, NordikLED reduced onsite manhours and building work, further reducing embedded carbon within the development as less transport is needed for deliveries or onsite labor. NordikLED is working towards a zero-carbon future, evident throughout this development, and eliminating the need for new fixtures cut costs massively, enabling a straightforward installation, maintaining the aesthetic and functional aspects of the space.

Campus corridor lighting

NordikLED’s work across the college campus equates to an aluminium saving of around 100,000 aluminium drink cans and a 17.5kW saving on lighting electrical consumption… and that’s before performance savings as a result of the new controls. Payback on investment is nine months, as well as increasing the life of the new luminaires through using controls. The finished product looks brand new and factory fresh, with lighting levels tailored to meet the needs of the College.
